Obituary

Ms. Virginia Harmon, 82 of Ona, W.Va., passed away peacefully Sunday January 20, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, with Rev. Diana Clay officiating. Internment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hurricane, WV She was a member of Pentecost Church of God. She was born March 20, 1925 a daughter of the late Virgil and Margaret Elizabeth Holley Harmon. Virginia was preceded in death by four brothers, Everett, Harold, Muril and Crystal Harmon, and one sister, Lilly Chapman. She is survived by one brother, Clovis Harmon of Huntington, W.Va.; and one sister, Nettie Dawson of Ona. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. The care and services of Ms. Harmon are under the direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
