Obituary
Anthony Lamont Jobe
Anthony “Tony” Lamont Jobe, 54, of Huntington, loving
husband, father, brother and friend, went home to be with his Lord on
Friday, March 14, 2008. He was born November 10, 1953 in Chicago, IL. He
was an active member of Young Chapel AME Church, the Owner and Operator of
C&J Roofing Company in Huntington and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine
Corps. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi E. Jobe, three
brothers; Jerome Miller, Larry Miller and Glenn Miller. Anthony is
survived by his wife Dianne Sibrel-Jobe, three daughters; Nasheka J. Jobe,
Monisa Chapman (Shane), and DeShawna Mestel all of Huntington, one son,
Michael Jobe, and his companion Jill Ramsey of Huntington, two sisters;
Ann Jackson (Jerry) of Waterloo, IA, and Karen Simpson of Columbia, SC
four brothers; Ronald “Blue” Miller, and Milton Miller (Carrie), both of
Huntington, Michael Jobe of Chicago, IL, and Austin Hairston (Kathleen) of
Columbia, SC, a sister-in-law Betty Miller of TN, five grandchildren;
Destiny, Christian, Alex, NeKaija and NeKendre. Special friends; Rick
Lara, Troy Cochran, Leann Chappelle, John Bryant and a host of other
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will
be conducted 1:00pm Friday at Young Chapel AME Church with Rev. Angela
Walker and Rev. Samuel Moore Officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from
6:00-8:00 at Young Chapel AME Church.Burial will follow in Spring Hill
Cemetery, Huntington, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Young Chapel AME Church. The Care and Services of Mr. Jobe are under the
direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
