Obituary

Charles Edward Moody, 69 of Huntington passed away March 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born April 30, 1938 in Huntington, a son of the late Elias and Rosetta Garrett Moody. He retired from WV Steel after 38 years of service and was a Police Officer for the City of Huntington for two years. He is survived by his wife, Delores E. Moody, three daughters; Annette Moody, Terri Moody and Helen Anabaraonye, all of Huntington, one son, Charles E. Moody Jr. and his wife Teresa Moody also of Huntington, one sister, Rosa Hunter of Columbus, GA, and three grandchildren, LaTerria, Kristona and Andreous. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday at the Real Life Christian Center with Bishop Charles D. Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. The care and services of Mr. Moody are under the direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
