Obituary

Mary Anna Wooding, 77 of Huntington passed away Friday, March 28, 2008 at her sons residence. She was born April 23, 1930 in Glen Jean, WV the only child to the late James and Annie Eldridge. They later move to Huntington, WV. She graduated from Douglas High School, she continued her education at Marshall University with a degree in Early Childhood training. Before her illness she was employed with Children Place of Guyandotte as a Foster Grandparent. She married John E. Wooding and bore four children. Two daughters, Terry (Tom) Parker and Annette Wooding of Durham, NC. Two sons, James E. Wooding and John W. Wooding of Huntington, WV. Thirteen grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several relatives and friends. She was a dedicated member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Hill officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time at the church. The care and services of Ms. Wooding are under the direction of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
