Colbert Hale
(May 28, 1959 - August 13, 2009)

Colbert Hale, 50, of Huntington passed away at home on Thursday, August 13, 2009 after a long illness. Colbert was born May 28, 1959 in Cabell County, West Virginia, a son of the late William Alan and Eulia Stepp Hale. He was a self employed contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pete and Gene Hale; a sister, Gladys Hale; one granddaughter, Savannah Marie. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Doris J. Hale; six children, Geneva Patrick, Colbert Hale, Andrew Summers, William Hale, Jonathan Hale and Sarah Cole all of Huntington; three grandchildren, Wesley Patrick, Dylan Patrick and Aimee Patrick also of Huntington. In keeping with his wishes, there are to be no services. The care of Mr. Hale has been entrusted to Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
