Doris Jean Kahn
(November 8, 1929 - August 18, 2009)

Doris Jean Kahn, 79, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Imogene Dolen Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home Huntington. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Doris was born November 8, 1929 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Henry T. and Adeline Adkins Hager. She moved back to Huntington in 1971, after living 17 years in Seattle, Washington. In Huntington, she worked as a executive secretary for; Dr. Lake Poland, National Alliance of Businessmen and Huntington Park & Recreation Board. Doris had been generous to several organizations, such as United Way, Little Victories Organization and March of Dimes. She is survived by two daughters, Grace Kahn and Brigitte (Dusty) Locey both of South Point; one brother Paul Hager of Huntington and Betty (Leroy) Moore of Guyandotte; four grandchildren, Kaymie Carden and Mya Kathryn Kahn of South Point, David Wickline of Huntington and Scott (Veronica) Wickline of Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Joseph Andrew Carden and Lucy Paige Carden of Palm City Florida. Visitation will be 1 pm until service time Friday at the funeral home.
