Violet Gay Blevins
(June 20, 1944 - June 10, 2009)

Violet Gay Blevins, 64, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Cornerstone Hospital of Huntington. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington. Burial will follow in Herrenkohl Cemetery, Lesage, WV. Violet was born June 20, 1944 in Huntington a daughter of the late Fred R. and Inez O. Beckett Blevins. Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Albright of Huntington, Rosalie Estep of Columbus, Ohio and Delphia Slater of Dunbar, WV; two brothers, Ronald Blevins of Proctorville, Ohio and Ted Blevins of Huntington. Visitation will be Friday 6pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
