Obituary

Jerry Lewis Sweet
(July 4, 1955 - October 16, 2014)

Jerry Lewis Sweet, age 58, of Barboursville, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 while under the care of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. Born July 4, 1955 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Elsie Weidman Jordan. Jerry was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran who served his country from 1974 until 1977. He is survived by his three brothers, Thomas Sweet of Greenbay, WI, Daniel Jordan of Fallen Waters, WV and Gene Sweet of Huntington. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife. An interment will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.
