Joanna May Allen
(February 17, 1939 - January 28, 2015)

Joanna May Allen, age 75, of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 while under the care of Cornerstone Hospital of Huntington.  Born February 17, 1939 in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jonie and Wyvonne (Wyont) Foster.  Joanna's greatest passions in life were her family, going to yard sales, and playing bingo. In her free time, she also enjoyed dancing and participating in activities held at the senior center on 9th Avenue in Huntington. Joanna was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three children, Toni Lynn Morgan of Huntington, Amos Adam Allen of Huntington, and Penny Gail Allen, also of Huntington; her brother, Joseph Foster Lucas of Huntington; her very special sister-in-law, Mary Macri of Huntington; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and her fur baby, Henry.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Adam Allen and her sister, Dana Starker.  It was Joanna's wish to be cremated. There will be no visitation or services.
