Kenneth Ray Young
(April 28, 1933 - January 3, 2015)

Kenneth Ray Young, age 81, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015 while under the care of the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born April 28, 1933 in Graceland, KY, he was the son of the late George Washington and Della (Hager) Young. He is survived by his children, Wanda (Charles) Barnett of South Point, OH, and Carolyn (Robert) Wood of Huntington; his brother, William H. Young, of Florida; three grandchildren; Chris Wood, James Wood, Jessica Barnett, and his five great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Young, who passed away on June 29, 2009 and his son, Roger W. Young.  Kenneth’s family will welcome friends on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home.  A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the funeral home, with Rev. Tom Dyer and Rev. Richard Fluty, co-officiating.  He will be laid to rest at the Milton Cemetery.
