Obituary

LONA FRANCES BIAS, 79, formerly of Milton, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004, in University Hospital, Augusta, Ga. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Alan Cole officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born July 11, 1925, in Milton, a daughter of the late Asa and Bertie Hensley Cooper. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy Bias; three brothers, Elbert Cooper, Paul Cooper and Ezra Cooper. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Kay Wells; three grandsons, Patrick and Kim Wells, Chad Wells and Teig and Tam Wells; one granddaughter, Tara Kay and Randy Chavous; two great-grandsons, Christopher and Anna Wells and Venoy Wells; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Marie Wells; one great-great-granddaughter, Lillian Grace Wells; three sisters, Jewell Meadows, Bonnie McCoy and Joyce Wilson.
