Obituary

HELEN L. MEADOWS, 84, of Milton went home to be with her Lord Monday, August 30, 2004 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Chelcie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Milton. She was born November 8, 1919, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Emmitt and Mary Lullen Dailey. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, W.O. "Bill" Meadows; one brother, Basil Dailey; four sisters, Thelma McComas, Maxine White, Elsie Jenkins and Evelyn Jenkins. She was a lifetime member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and retired from Blenko Glass after 40 years of service. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Lorene Meadows and Jeff and Linda Meadows; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol Lego and Betty and Buck Perry; nine grandchildren, Kim and Ron Mayes, Kathy and Gary Chapman, Steve Lego and Julianna Bills, Tracey Laprad, Mark Lego and Mary Brewer, W.D. Perry, W.J. Meadows, Amanda and Bryan Adams and Tony Davis; six great-grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Jordan Laprad, Cody Meadows, Zachary Lego and Robert Brewer; one brother, Donald Dailey. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
