Obituary

OSCAR W. "Buster" KEATON, 90, of Milton passed away Monday, August 16, 2004, in Putnam General Hospital. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born November 13, 1913, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a son of the late William C. and Garnet Bonar Keaton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Glenn Keaton; two brothers, Creath L. and Floyd Keaton; and one sister, Hazel Kirtley. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was retired from Blenko Glass, as well as a self-employed farmer. He is survived by two daughters, Janet Newsome and Peggy Black, both of Milton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William Darrell Keaton and Donald and Margie Keaton, all of Milton; two grandsons, Michael Sowards and Jimmy Black, both of Milton; and two great-grandsons. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home.
