Obituary

Joe. F. Chaney, 66 of Culloden passed away Monday, September 13, 2004 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Service details are incomplete at this time.  He was born March 21, 1938, in Hurricane, WV, a son of the late Bernie and Arilla Gibson Chaney.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Wayne Chaney and Bernie Chaney.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara H. Chaney;  two daughters, Jo Ann Chaney and Janice Basham, both of Culloden;  one son and daughter-in-law, John F. and Paula Chaney of Chappells, SC;  one sister, Pat Stinson of Ona;  four grandchildren , Jordan Chaney, Camille Basham, Jessica Chaney and Jasmin Chaney; and two great grandchildren, Curtis Chaney and CJ Basham.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
