Obituary

Lewis Ray Pauley, 89, of Ona, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Davis and Daniel Beaver officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Ray was born December 18, 1916 in Wayne County, a son of the late William and Victoria Ailiff Pauley.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Avinell Pauley.  He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Lowell Johnson; one son, James W. Pauley; one sister, Mavis Martin and her husband Winfield; one brother, Roy Franklin Pauley and his wife Peggie.  He also leaves behind four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Friend may call from Noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.  Donations may be sent to the Antioch Baptist Church building fund.  Heck Funeral Home, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements.
