Obituary

Owen F. Queen Jr., 74, of Point Pleasant, WV formerly of Milton, WV, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Dwayne Smith and Joe Hammack officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  He was a member of Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry.  He retired from Pechiney in Ravenswood, WV.  He served in the military as a MP for four years.  He was born July 13, 1932 in Milton, WV a son of the late Owen Queen Sr. and Lennie Mae Murrell Queen.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Brent A. Queen.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Collins Queen of Point Pleasant; one daughter, Teresa Lynn Kebler of Point Pleasant; one son, Harry Lee and Denise Queen of Point Pleasant.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jermyn Queen, Anthony Fowler, Karrie Fowler, Harry Lee Queen Jr., Havanah “Gracie” Queen, T.J. Roach and Jeremy Roach all of Point Pleasant.  He also leaves behind three brothers and five sisters, Dorothy Gene Fisher of Point Pleasant, Jim and Louisa Queen of Milton, Mary Lou Craddock of Hurricane, Bill and Charletta Queen of Milton, Roberta McCoy of Milton, Nancy Lunsford of Milton, Jane and John Cleghon of Barboursville and John and Tamara Queen of Milton.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
