Obituary

 James E. “Buddha” Ratcliff, 34, of Ona, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington with Rev. E.S. Harper and James McChristian officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park.  Jamie was born December 23, 1971 a son of the late Larry Ratcliff.  He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Bills Ratcliff.  He was his mother’s baby boy and her pride and joy and a piece of her heart went with him.  He is also survived by one sister, Tiffany Ratcliff Napier and her husband Anthony; two brothers, Larry Ratcliff Jr. and Mark Ratcliff and his wife Sherry; one nephew, Tanner Ratcliff.  He also leaves behind his God son, Zachary Sloan and his beloved dog, “Puppy” whom he cherished with all his heart; he will be sadly missed by his friends, Gabe Roush, Chris Smith and Lynn, Russ Leger, Ladonna Hunter, Jason Sloan, Tommy Stevens and hundreds more including his wrestling buddies; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, November3, 2006 at Apostolic Life Cathedral and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Heck Funeral Home, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements
