Obituary

Worthey Jefferson, 56, of Milton passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 at his residence.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Richard Black officiating.  Burial will follow in Balls Chapel Cemetery.  He was born May 3, 1951 in Cabell Co., WV, a son of the late Delbert Franklin and Lottie Pearl Ball Jefferson.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert, Jr. and Joseph H. Jefferson.  He is survived by three brothers, Roger of Charleston, James of Phoenix, AZ, and Othel of Milton; five sisters, Mary Spurlock of Milton, Carolyn and Michael Lewis of Huntington, Bonnie and Shawn Ayers of Fairfax, VA, Brenda Jefferson and Louise Jefferson both of Milton.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, December 10, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home.
