Stephen
Brent Rule, 57, of
Milton, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007
after a brief illness at St. Mary’s
Medical
Center.
Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday at the Abbey of
Devotion Mausoleum at
Ridgelawn
Memorial
Gardens with Pastor Bob
Hogsett officiating. Stephen was born January 20, 1950
in
Cabell
County, a son of the
late, James and Francis Bischoff Rule. He was a driver’s education
instructor for 31 years with the Cabell County Board of Education.
After retirement he continued to serve his community as a substitute
teacher up to his death. He is survived by his wife,
Sheila N. Rule; one brother, Tony Rule and his wife Linda; special uncle and
aunt, Glen and Bess Rule; mother and father-in-law, George and Doris Neal;
sister and brother-in-law, Karen Day and Jeff Neal; nieces and nephews he
loved dearly, Chris Rule, Todd Rule, Stacey Mabry, Chelsea and Hayley Day,
Wesley and Derek Neal; and a host of cousins, friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Marshall
University Big Green Club of which he was a passionate member.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at
Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
