Obituary

Brenda Sue Carter, 57, of Culloden, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Mark Terry officiating.  Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.  Brenda was born February 20, 1951, in Putnam County.  She is preceded in death by her father, William B. Quentrill; one son, Scott Carter.  She is survived by her mother, Frances Quentrill.  She also leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Rodney Carter; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Stacy and Joey Kirk and Tina and Gary Priestley; five grandchildren, Courtney Allen, Brandon Carter, Britany Priestley, Joseph Kirk and Alexis Kirk; one great grandchild, Hailey Mullins; four brothers, Ronnie Quentrill, Danny Quentrill, Steve Quentrill and Mike Quentrill; one sister, Barbara Davis and several other family and friends.  Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
