Obituary

Vivian Jeraldine Rose, 82, of Ona, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Barboursville.  She was born August 1, 1925 in Milton, WV a daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Christa Poar Mitchell.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William F. Kiff; second husband, Elwood Rose, Jr.; her brother, Austin Mitchell.  She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.  She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kiff Lafferre and her boyfriend, Doug Lucas of Milton, Pamela and Douglas Triplett of Barboursville; two sons, William and Patty Rose of Ona, Jerry Lee and Mary Rose of Ona; sister, Christine Massey of Milton; six grandchildren, Missy Massey, Brandon Triplett, Billy Rose, Kelly Spurlock, Todd Rose, and Vicky Rose; eight great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of the service on Friday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
