Obituary

Ruth Aldine Colegrove Sevy, 86, of Ona, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 30, 2008, at her residence.  She was born March 23, 1922 in Cabell County a daughter of the late John Henry and Garnett Ruby Floyd Colegrove.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, W.Va. with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  Burial will follow in  Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Also preceding her in death was her husband, Russell Thomas Sevy; a sister, Delilah Colegrove Sevy; and an infant grandson, Michael Smith.  She is survived by her only child, a daughter, Carolyn Gay and her husband Barry Lee Smith Sr.; two grandsons Barry Lee Jr. and his wife Caryn, and Thomas Christopher Smith.  Two Precious great-grand children Kassidy Ruth Smith and Cameron Thomas Smith also former granddaughter-in-law, Erin Kessler and Maw Maw’s extra great grandson, Christopher Derek Wilson, of North Carolina.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday June 2, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  We would like to thank Hospice of Huntington for all the loving care they gave my mother.  You are truly a blessing.
