Obituary

Eugene Lewis “Lew” Porter, 62, of Milton, formerly of Belle, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday at Forest Memorial Park, Milton, with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  He was born May 9, 1947 a son of the late Eugene and Colleen Roach Porter.  He was a 1966 graduate of Dupont High School.  He was an operator for B andW Construction.  He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Sandra Kay Porter; two sons, Christopher Scott Porter and Eugene Lewis “Lewie” Porter, II both of Huntington; four grandchildren, Kristen Alexandria Porter, Carl Jeffery “CJ” Porter, Sydney Jo Porter, and Christopher Zane Porter; two sisters, Melissa Porter Clyne and Connie Porter Bonham.  A Celebration of Lew’s life will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009, starting at 4:00 PM at the Milton V.F.W. Building.  The family extends an open invitation for all to come.  Be prepared to share some memories, laugh, and honor the good times of the life Lew lived.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Aneurysm Foundation, 2811 Castro Valley Blvd., Suite 111, Castro Valley, CA  94546.
