Obituary

Glen Albert Rule, 82, of Milton, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at his home.  Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  Burial will follow the services.  He was born July 6, 1927 in Beckley, WV, a son of the late, Lawrence, Sr. and Julia Anne Stover Rule.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry Allen Rule; six brothers, and three sisters.  He is survived by his loving wife, Bessie Ford Rule; grandson, Joshua Allen Rule, who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Japan; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews; a host of friends.  Glen was a U.S. Army veteran and Baptist by faith.  He was a graduate of Milton High School and attended Marshall University where he played football for Cam Henderson.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
