Obituary

Ruby Ellen Meadows, 96, of Milton went home to be with the Lord and her family on Thursday, November 12, 2009.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Ray Sovine officiating.  Burial will follow in Pete Meadows Cemetery.  She was born October 27, 1913, a daughter of the late Frank and Cora Cook Arthur and Martha Cook.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Zebulun Meadows; three sisters, Dessie Clagg, Mary Meadows and Pansey Clagg; four brothers, Willard, Frank, Everett and Woodrow Arthur; one half sister, Mildred Vanatter; three nieces, Violet Clagg, Shirley Litchfield and Baby Arthur; and one step grandson, Michael Meadows.  She is survived by one stepson, Donald Meadows and his wife, Shirley; 11 nieces; 13 nephews; and one great niece she adored, Angela Sue Clagg.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
