Obituary

John G. Woodrum, 67, of Milton, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington.  He was born February 9, 1942 in Lincoln Co., WV a son of the late Dewey and Martha Adkins Woodrum.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Woodrum; sister, Mary Jane Lovejoy.  He is survived by his wife and best friend, Donna Woodrum; daughter, Laina (Jim) Gray of Cambridge, OH; six grandchildren, Kristin Gray, Amber (Brandon) Giffin, Sean (Mandi) Davis, Zachary Gray, Lydia Gray, and Layla Gray; two great  grandchildren, Ginger and Ryleigh; sister, Junnie Conley of Gallipolis, OH; brother, Sonny Woodrum of PA; many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Don Reynolds officiating.  Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  There will be a procession from the funeral home leaving at 2:00 PM.
