Obituary

Our dear mother, wife, sister, aunt and grandmother, VOLA "Vi" SHILTZ, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She departed this world surrounded by her loved ones. She had been the devoted wife of Ira Shiltz for 44 years. She was born to Inez Harshbarger and Benny Willis, and both have preceded her in death. Her brother Ellis Plumley and her grandson Nicky Shiltz also preceded her in death. She leaves behind Ira Shiltz, her husband; her children, Suzy Cremeans, Jeri Shiltz Turley (Scott), Mary Shiltz and Fred (Chrissy) Shiltz. She is survived by eight grandchildren,: Mandy Stickler, Johnathan Jeffers, Megan, Spencer and Shelby Turley, Christine, Destiny and Fred Jr. Shiltz and four great-grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Jeffers and Brody and Jackson Stickler. She is survived by her sister Dianna (Wandell) Cremeans of Culloden and a brother Junior (Dorothy) Plumley of Milton, Fla. She had a host of nieces and nephews, with two special nieces Wanda Sue and Lisa Cremeans. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2009, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Larry Arbogast officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Teays Valley. There will be no visitation.
