Obituary

JAMES HAROLD WISEMAN, 71, of Milton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, with Rev. Richard Black officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born May 27, 1938, a son of the late Arminnia Nibert Vanatter and his step-father, Willard Vanatter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lee (Hawkins) Wiseman; sons, David and Robert Wiseman; half-brother, Lloyd Vanatter. He was a former security guard. He graduated from West Virginia State College and attended Marshall University. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Vanada Joan and Bryan Stambaugh of West Portsmouth; son, James Wiseman Jr. of Milton; granddaughter, Rachel Huffman; sister-in-law, Barbara Hawkins of Nitro. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
