Rose Mary Koontz
 March 22, 1940 - June 3, 2010

Rose Mary Koontz, 70, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Bennie Dean officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born March 22, 1940 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late William and Sarah Marie Day Cremeans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garry David Koontz; infant granddaughter, Madison and a brother-in-law, Ralph Boggs. Mrs. Koontz was retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center after 26 years of employment as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. She is survived by two sons, David Koontz and his wife, Angie and John Koontz; two daughters, Victoria Koontz and Namie Stump; eight grandchildren, Courtney, Nathaniel, Cara, Alyssa, Brett, Bethany, Austin and Caley; one great grandchild, Nevaeh; one sister, Sari Ada Boggs and one brother, William Herman Cremeans and his wife, Sandra. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
