Arie Martin Davis
May 24, 1924 - May 14, 2010

Arie M. Davis, 85, of Milton passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Ronnie Long officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Milton. He was born May 20, 1924, a son of the late Benjamin and Eva Waugh Davis. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Davis retired from Barboursville Clay after 35 years of employment and served in the US Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Loreda Ashworth Davis; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mark Rose of Huntington; one grandson, Todd Wallace of Barboursville; one sister, Opal Argabrite; three stepsons, Dale (Jeanne) Ashworth of Milton, Kendal (Linda) Ashworth of Ashton and Sherman and Karen Ashworth of Frazier’s Bottom; two stepdaughters, Sharon (Terry) Yates of Milton and Carolyn Elkins of Huntington; sister-in-law, Lorene (Martin) Doss of Nitro and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
