James H. “Pete” Glover, 62, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2011 in V.A. Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Dale Henson and Rev. Windell Shull officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, with military graveside rites by the V.F.W. Post 9097, Hurricane. Pete was born March 21, 1948 in Mason County, WV a son of the late Elza “Buster” and Dora Jenkins Glover. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dora Hutchinson. He was a grinder operator for ACF Industries. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He faithfully attended Cooper Independent Church for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue Glover; daughter, Teresa Bird of Milton; son, Terry Glover of Milton; sister, Pauline (Fred) Hammond of Florida; brothers, Paul (Helen) Glover of Mason Co., WV, Carl (Mary) Glover of Teays Valley, and Alford Glover of South Carolina; host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
