David L. Dotson, 75, of Culloden, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Gary Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton. He was born July 3, 1938 in Lochgelly, WV, a son of the late Alden and Nadine Dotson. He was also preceded in death by three brothers. Mr. Dotson served in the US Air Force for four years and retired from the trucking industry in 2000 after 45 years of driving. He is survived by his wife, Jean Dotson; two sons and daughters-in-law, David L. II and Kathy Dotson and Mark and Paula Dotson, both of Culloden; four grandchildren, Amber Hale, David L. Dotson III, Lucy Marcum and Mark Dotson II; five great grandchildren, Cora, Matthew, Eli, Katie and Claire; four brothers and two sisters. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
