Mayme Agnes McComas, 92, of Glenwood, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at River’s Bend Health Care. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood with the Rev. Randy Tate officiating. Agnes was born February 9, 1923, a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Mayme Woodrum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elza McComas; one son, Gary McComas; and three sisters, Elfreda Rose, Dorothy Bailey and Ruth “Bonnie” Waggoner. She was a homemaker who loved her family as well as her church family. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerold and Brenda McComas; four sisters, Phyllis Pinkerman, Rosemary Chapman, Emmaline Childers and Gaynell Smith; granddaughter, Jennifer Adkins; and great granddaughter, Sarah Adkins. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the hospice of one’s choice.
