WILLIAM LACEY CLONCH
(September 4, 1937 - April 1, 2009)

WILLIAM LACEY CLONCH, 71, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE with the Rev. Kevin Shull officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He was married to Velma Martin Clonch. He was born September 4, 1937 in Cabell County, West Virginia the son of the late David Edward and Clara Bell Clonch. He was retired from Marshall University where he worked as a carpenter. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by two Sons, Jody and Ashley Johnson, of Kenova, WV, and Edward and Amanda Clonch of Barboursville. Four grandchildren, Katie and Nick Johnson; Taylor and Lacy Clonch; one sister Beulah Gossett of Milton. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Inez Rakes, Betty Coney, and Mary Jarrell; two brothers, Emmanuel and Ernie Clonch. HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE IS HANDLING ARRANGEMENTS.
