CAROL JEAN PACE
(January 1, 1949 - January 31, 2010)

CAROL JEAN PACE, 61, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at her residence. She was born on January 1, 1949 in Youngstown, OH, the Daughter of the late Robert Royal and Betty Ruth Ruffner Pace. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 5, 2010 in Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Huntington, W.Va. with her son, Pastor Doug Sammons officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE. Carol is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean Burley and Wendy Davis both of Huntington, W.Va. and one son, Doug(April) Sammons of Columbus, OH; three step children, Michael Godbey of Louisville, KY, Robert Godbey, Huntington, W.Va. and Terry Godbey of New Orleans, LA; two sisters, Donna Robertson of Versailles, KY. and Debbie Sheehan of Woodstock, GA.; two brothers, Robert Pace, of Baltimore, MD and Donald Pace of W.Va.; She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Anna Burley, Nicholas Burley, Alison Sammons, Autumn Sammons, Josiah Sammons, Christopher Chianesi, Timothy Chianesi, Caitlin Chianesi, Maddie Chianesi, Lily Lowell Blake, and Joshua Carter. She was a former employee as a telemarketer for Applied Card Systems and at the Robert Godbey Law Office as a paralegal. Carol Jean enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She loved her children, grandchildren and family dearly. She really enjoyed buying and doing for others. She was a Seventh Day Adventist by faith. Arrangements are being handled by HENSON MORTUARY BARBOURSVILLE.
