RUTH H. HAGEN DAULTON
Mrs. Katherine Ruth Hagen Daulton, 91 of Huntington, widow of John William Daulton, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Midland Meadows Assisted Living Center, Ona, WV. She was born June 15, 1919 in Scioto County, OH the daughter of the late John William and Alice Raynard Hagen. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Gary Shepherd officiating. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until service time on Monday. Burial will follow in South Webster Cemetery, South Webster, OH. In addition to her husband, parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold F. Hagen, a granddaughter, Keriane Marie Daulton. She was a teacher at West Portsmouth High School, Salt Rock Jr. High School and Barboursville Jr. High School. She was a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church. She had been a very active member of the Barboursville Woman’s Club. She is survived by her son, Joe Hagen Dauton an wife, Tia Marie Harrison Daulton of Huntington, WV; two granddaughters, Laura Marie Daulton and Bobbie Leigh Daulton Preece and husband, Christopher Scott Preece; one nephew, John F. Hagen and his wife, Beulah Williams Hagen; one great nephew, Kale Hagen and two great nieces. The family would like to thank the staff of Midland Meadows Senior Living for their loving care and support.
