MAXINE M. HAGLEY
(October 7, 1930 - November 16, 2010)



Maxine M. Hagley, 80 of Ona, W.Va. passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November, 20, 2010 at the Beulah Ann Baptist Church, Ona, W.Va, where she was a member and taught Sunday School for 20 years with the Rev. Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  She was born, October 7, 1930 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Harry Franklin and Edna Garnet Byrd Ray, She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Calvin Hagley the father of her children, two grandsons, Lee and Tommy Napier, one, step-daughter, Terri Moore, one sister, Betty Perry. She is survived by her husband, Eustace Hagley, Jr. of Ona, W.Va; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Lonnie Napier of Ona, W.Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell  and Kay Hagley of Frazier’s Bottom, W.Va; four sisters and brother-in-laws, Earlie and Ted Massie of Ona, W.Va,, Nellie and Gerald Harshbarger of  Parkersburg, W.Va., Reba  and Fred Dunford of Philadelphia, Pa, Mary and Charles Brubeck of Chicago, four grandchildren, Charles, Bryan, John Hagley, Lisa Vitatoe,; two step grandchildren, Chris Moore, Casey Moore; eleven  great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Maxine’s caregivers Paula Blankenship, Connie Scott, Karen Ward . The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2010  from 6-9 p.m. at Henson Mortuary and one hour before service at the church on Saturday. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, or to the charity of one’s choice.
