TRUDY MARIE FANKHANEL
(February 7, 1939 - February 18, 2011)

Trudy Marie Ryan Lowrey Fankhanel, 72 of Huntington, wife of James Fankhanel,  died, Friday, February 18, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. She was born February 11, 1939, Yawkey, W.Va. daughter of the late Fred & Floise Linville Ryan. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 7:00P.M. February 25, 2011, at Christ The King Lutheran Church of which she was a member. Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2011 from 5-7P.M. at the church. Burial will be in Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Yawkey. In addition to her husband she is survived by , (5) daughters, Cindy Lynn Fankhanel- Loveland, Co, Tammy and husband Carroll Presley- Kenna, W.Va., Carine & husband Bob Williams- Proctorville, Ohio, Christy Ward- Huntington, Collette Withowski- Huntington, (1) son James Jr. & wife Karrie Fankhanel- Hurricane, Nephew Jerry Kerns- Ripley, W.Va. (3) sisters Ada & husband Bernie McCormick- South Charleston, Lois & husband Tad Yates-Gaithersburg, Md, Annalou & husband Nat Cassle- Yawkey, W.Va. (1) brother Kenny Ryan- Alum Creek, W.Va., (16) grandchildren, (9) great grandchildren. Trudy was active in Democratic Women, was past president of City of Huntington Foundation, member of Pilot Club of Huntington, Barboursville Lions Club. Contributions may be made to Barboursville Lions Club, Jackson County 4-H. Arrangements are being handled by Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
