VIRGINIA IRENE (CALES) GENUA
(March 16, 1931 - January 18, 2011)

Virginia Irene Cales Genua, 79 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, January 18 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. She was a hairdresser for many years in the Huntington area. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bessie Cales, brother Ernest Cales, and sister Lucy Cales Wagner. She is survived by two sons, Dana Genua and Marc (Susie) Genua all of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Freda (Ted) Tinsley and Ethel (Pete) Petrey of Arizona; and one brother Jerry Cales, also of Arizona.  She was grandmother to Amy (David) Clayton of Knoxville, Ryan Genua of Knoxville,TN., and Matt (Jenny) Genua of Nashville, TN; and great grandmother to Jacob Clayton, Baylee Clayton, Emma Clayton and Kaylee Bickford.  A private service will be held in Huntington, W.Va. on Saturday, January 22, 2011.  Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. (304-736-8986) is in charge of arrangements.
