Obituary

RUTH ANN THOMAS
(October 7, 1932 - January 6, 2011)

Ruth Ann Thomas, 78 of Huntington, widow of Bernard Thomas, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Midland Meadows Care Center, Ona, W.Va.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance, Huntington, W.Va. with Kimberly Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. She was born October 7, 1932 in Huntington, W.Va the daughter of the late, Robert Forest and Helen Taylor Nance. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Jenny Nance. She is survived by  one son, Greg and wife, Alane Thomas and one daughter, Becky and husband, Darryl Marks all of Huntington, W.Va; one sister, Carol Sue Samples of Huntington, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Kevin Thomas and Kyle Marks.  She was a retired nurse from St. Mary’s Medical Center and a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing. Henson Mortuary, Barboursville is caring for the family.
