ObituaryJACK WILLIS AUSTIN
Jack Willis Austin, 77 of Barboursville, W.Va. passed away, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home. Jack was born March 3, 1938, a son of the late , Curwin Clyde Austin and Anna Lucille Thompson Austin; in addition to his parents he was preceded by his grandmother, Mary Edith Adams; his brother, Curwin Austin, and his nephew, Curwin Allen Austin II. He is survived by his daughter, Erica Michelle Angeldorf and husband (Jason) of Fort Mill, S.C; two grandchildren Brady & Carson Angeldorf of Fort Mill S.C. Sister Charlotte and husband James Hardwick, Jacksonville, Fla. a niece Shannon Hardwick, and nephew Shawn wife (Stacy) Hardwick. Jack served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army in Germany; He was a retired Cabell County School Teacher having taught 20 years at Barboursville Middle School. He was a member of the Barboursville American Legion Post #177, and active volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center, He was former dance Arthur Murray dance instructor in New York, and also taught dance locally. He was a 1956 graduate of Huntington East High School, and received his bachelor’s degree from Marshall University; he was also a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church, Barboursville. Celebration of his life will be Monday, March 30, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, with Rev. John Sauvage, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope –Austin-McCloud Cemetery, Henderson, W.V. Visitation will be Monday, for 11:00 AM until service time on Monday at the mortuary.
