RONALD LARRY DRUMMOND
(March 8, 1939 - March 10, 2015)



Ronald Larry Drummond, age 76, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 He was born March 8, 1939 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Robert and Iona Norris Drummond. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War with 20 years of service to our country. He was also the recipient of the Bronze Star, and the Silver Service Star Medal. Following his retirement, he worked as a security guard with American Security. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gray Drummond and his sister, Barbara Jean Rochon. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Drummond; three sons, Ronald (Katharine) Drummond, II. of Utah, Donald (Dawn) Drummond of Blythewood, SC, and David (Ashley) Drummond of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren: Thomas, Ezra, Hannah, Audrey, Dakota, Delaney, and Damian Drummond; Brother-in-law: John L. Rochon of Amelia, OH. Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens by Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, SC. and Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
