Ellen Virginia Cook Spradling, 83 of Barboursville, W.Va. passed away, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1934 the daughter of the late, Glen and Edna Pauline Rayburn Cook. She was retired from the maintenance dept. at J.C. Penny Dept. Store, Barboursville, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Spradling; one sister, Margaret Paugh and one brother, Freddy Cook. She is survived by her loving children, Brenda Cook of Milton, W.Va, Carolyn (Jeff) Howard of Washington Courthouse, OH, Joyce Cook of Barboursville, W.Va, Fred Collins of Sedalia, OH. and Amber (Dana) Hayes of Milton, W.Va; one brother, Larry (Connie) Cook of Mt. Sterling, OH; grandchildren, Brandon, McKaylen and Robert and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville, W.Va.
