Josiah Paul Eddy, 29 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born May 18, 1987 in Huntington, W.Va. the son of James Thomas Eddy and Linda Kay Elkins Eddy. Josiah attended Grace Christian School, graduate of Fairland High School, a full time student at Marshall University seeking his bachelor’s degree in Safety Technology and a member of A.S.S.E. He worked for Sparks Construction Co. and was a member of Christ Temple Church. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by Ed and Trish Allen of Lavallette, W.Va. whom Josiah referred to has his second parents; his beloved, Tessa Yost of Dayton, OH; three sisters, Jodi (Tim) Johnson of Proctorville, OH, Rachel Graham of Huntington, W.Va. and Jenna Fields of Pikeville, KY; one brother, Matthew Eddy of Huntington, W.Va. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday at Christ Temple Church, Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday at the church. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va., is caring for the family.
