ObituaryLeonard Neal Niday, 73 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Friday, January 6, 2016 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. He was born February 21, 1943 in Huntington, W.Va. the son of the late, Addison Glen and Catherine Carrie Willis Niday. He was a retired Clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ann Mae Adkins, Erma Lea Sergent-Nitz, Glenna Jean Feher; four brothers, Thomas Glen Niday, James Edwin Niday, Albert Eugene Niday and George Frederick Niday; best friend, Jack Cooper. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Betts Niday of Huntington, W.Va. and one son, George Thomas Niday of Huntington, W.Va; two sisters, Mildred Louise Perry of Huntington, W.Va. and Mary Katherine Kessick of Proctorville, OH; one brother, Robert Bruce Niday of Naples, Fla. And best friend, Jack Ransbottom and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will conducted at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2016 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #139 Milton, W.Va. In lieu of lfowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post #139, 1207 West Main Street Milton, W.Va. 25541. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va.
