Lance Ray Belville, 74 of Huntington, W.Va. passed, W.Va. Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1942 in Huntington, W.Va. the son of the late Raymond Belville and Clarice Saunders Belville. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School and earned a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance from Marshall University. He was also a retired business owner, real estate agent as well as college professor at Marshall University, a member of the Huntington Rotary Club and a member of Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church. Lance was an avid fan of Marshall University athletics, enjoyed football, basketball and golf, as well as watching the stock market and traveling. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, October, 20, 2017 at Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church with Pastor Scott Hoppe officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by two daughters, Terri Higginbotham (Gary) of Catlettsburg, KY. And Nancy Belville of Winston Salem, NC; one son, Lance Belville, Jr. of Seattle, WA; one sister in law, Nancy Myers Wells of Springhill TN; brother and sister, Tommy and Sandy Belville of Proctorville, OH; three grandchildren, Glen Bowen (Nikki), Zach Bowen and Abigail Grace Higginbotham; one great-granddaughter, Emma Bowen; as well as a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va.
