Darrell Gene "Tiny" Farley, 69 of Barboursville, WV passed away, Friday, February 16, 2018 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born October 2, 1948 in Logan, WV the son of the late, Tabor Farley and Ann Adkins Farley Lambert. Darrell loved to make people laugh and had the kindest heart and never met a stranger. He was a retired construction worker, a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran and attended Hebron Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Shepherd Farley of Barboursville, WV; one daughter, Tina Conteras of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Rema (Frank) Manns of Barboursville, WV, Blanche Farley Mayo of Barboursville, WV and Teresa Lambert-Catanzarite of Hurricane, WV; special brother, David Farley of Huntington, WV; brothers-in-law, Robert Shepherd of Barboursville, WV, Clodis Shepherd of South Point, OH and David Shepherd of Hamlin, WV; grandchildren, Dominic, Elecia and Jessica; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, WV near Barboursville with Pastor James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by the West Virginia Honor Guard and American Legion Post #16, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
