Sonia Eleanor Rainey Lindsey, 87 of Huntington, WV went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born September 8,1930 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Ralph and Sherline Washington Rainey. She was a retired Appeals Clerk with the V.A. Medical Center and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lindsey; two sons, Tony Scott and Thomas Scott; two daughters, Sandra Randolph and Tammy Lindsey. She is survived by one daughter, Sherline Trotter of Detroit, Mich. and a special grandson and caregiver, Thomas Anthony (Charise) Lindsey of Huntington, WV, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Arrangements are incomplete at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, WV near Barboursville.
