Lillian Louise Jarrell, 92 of Highpoint, NC, passed away, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield, High Point, NC. She was blessed to be cared for by a professional and loving staff. She made many friends and was loved by everyone at the Hughe House. Lillian was born November 4, 1925 in Huntington, WV. She met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Jarrell, they married in 1942 and had four children. She loved the Lord and was a faithful and devoted mother. Lillian will be remembered for her strength, character, kindness and love. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Jarrell, her parents, William and Viola Riffett and a her grandson, Brian Jarrell. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie (Richard) Ramey of Charterville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry (Loretta) Jarrell of Grand Ledge, MI, Michael (Carol) Jarrell of High Point, NC, Virgil (Sandra) Jarrell of Huntington, WV; brother, Woodrow (Betty) Riffett of Ona, WV; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Pennyburn at Maryfield for caring for Mom with love and kindness during her illness. Thank you to Hospice of High Point, NC for your support and guidance. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Rd. Barboursville, WV with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Rd. Barboursville, WV.
