Mr. Frank Altizer
(November 24, 1936 - July 6, 2011)

Frank Altizer, 74, of Huntington, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in the Huntington Health and Rehab Center. A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 by the Rev. Bob Withers at Spring Hill Cemetery. He was a retired photographer from the Huntington Publishing Company. Frank was born November 24, 1936 in Wyoming Co., WV, a son of the late Taney and Rosemary Browning Altizer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Marjorie Altizer; a granddaughter, Andrea Huff; two sisters, Annabelle Goode and Jeannie Hurley. Survivors include his daughter, Leslie Vickers and a grandson, Michael Vickers both of Huntington; three sisters, Mattie Lee Browning of Springfield, OH, Earlene Bannister of Pineville, WV and Sue Duty of Pineville, WV and one brother, Ray Altizer of Huntington. There will be no visitation. Klingel Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested memorial contributions be made to a charity of ones choice
